Hello aspirant,

A applicant must receive at least 60% of the possible points in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 10+2 or comparable exams in order to be eligible for the IMU CET. Furthermore, a minimum of 50% in English is required. SC/ST category candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation.

The qualifying marks for the IMUCET (Indian Medical Universities Common Entrance Test) vary depending on the institution and the category of the candidate (e.g., General, OBC, SC, ST). IMUCET is typically conducted by the Indian Medical Universities for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses.

For most medical entrance exams like IMUCET, the following general criteria are considered:

General Category: Candidates often need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the entrance exam to be eligible for admission.

OBC/SC/ST Categories: There may be a relaxation of around 5% in the qualifying marks, i.e., 45% for these categories.

Hello Lucky,

The minimal marks required to qualify for the IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) fluctuate from year to year and depends on numerous criteria, including the category of the candidate, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of people taking the exam.  However, the Indian Maritime University's (IMU) percentage and cutoff grades serve as the general qualifying criterion.

1. For general candidates, the minimum qualifying scores in IMU CET are normally between 50% and 60% of the overall exam.

2. The minimum qualifying scores for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) can be reduced to between 45% and 50%, depending on the category and year. The cutoff marks for general candidates are normally higher because the competition is fiercer.

3. To be eligible for admission to IMU, you must get at least the minimum qualifying marks on the IMU CET. However, meeting the qualifying marks does not ensure admission.

4. The IMU CET cutoff varies from year to year and may be determined by factors such as exam difficulty, applicant numbers, and availability of seats in specific courses.

5. After the results are announced, IMU will release a cutoff list or merit list reflecting the minimal marks/rank required for admission to certain programs.
The ultimate admission decision is based on your merit list rank and the availability of seats in the requested course.

Check the official IMU website for the most recent changes on cutoff marks, exam dates, and special requirements for the year you're applying for.
