For general category candidates,  the expected minimum marks required in NEET 2024 for MBBS are 720 - 138 and for reserved category candidates,  the minimum mark requirement in 137 - 108. I.e 50 percentile for UR/ EWS and 40 percentile for other categories.  Candidates can seek admission through NEET in 2 categories which are, the ALL-INDIA QUOTA and the state level quota. AIQ consists of 15% of the total seats available, and the remaining 85% comes under the state level quota.

An MBBS programme lasts for around five and a half years on average. Four and a half years of academic study and a mandatory one-year rotating internship are included in the length of this MBBS programme.
