Passing marks required to pass in computer science is 33% of total marks i.e. 33 marks out of 100 . The GTU has raised its passing mark from 35% to 40%, which means students will have to score 28 instead of 23 marks in a 70-mark paper.

The Computer Science Engineering is a 4 year full time undergraduate course and most universities have a minimum of 40% requirement to pass the course. Some also have 36% or 55% . Just check with the university guidelines of your college.

Every college have their own set criteria. and as your question is not clear exactly what you are talking about if you are talking about getting minimum CGPA in BTech computer science so that you can get your degree . if this is your question the year student every college have their own minimum marks criteria at which they will give degree to the student but a maximum college give the degree to the students with minimum of 5 CGPA in the course and there are many colleges who ask for a minimum of 6 or 6.5 CGPA in their degree so that they are eligible to get the degree from the college.
