Hi aspirant,
You have not mentioned your category. Therefore, I am considering you to belong from general category and I am answering accordingly. The maximum rank i.e. the maximum closing rank of seventh round which has been able to get admission last year in NIT Andhra Pradesh under homestate quota is around 41,000 in Biotechnology engineering while the maximum closing rank under other state quota has been around 42,000 for Biotechnology engineering too.
Hence if you are interested in such branch then you need to get at least 95 percentile approximately. For other branches you need to get 98.5+ percentile. Hope I answered your query.
Hello
For admission into NIT Tadepalligudem it is advantageous if u score more than 90 percentile.some NITS also accept the students with 80 percentile but in order to have a higher chance of admission it is better to score more than 90.
Best luck

Hello aspirant,
The percentile varies every year and the scores vary according to the 100th percentile (which is the highest score achieved by the topper). Your percentile would also depend on a number of other factors, such as the number of shifts in which the exam is being conducted, the total number of participants and the no of students with the same score as you.
As a result, the cutoff percentiles vary too depending upon the availability of seats during the subsequent rounds of counselling. Also since you haven't mentioned the stream you wish to opt for, the answer I am about to provide is going to be very generic. So if you are from general category, then you need to score a minimum of 94 percentile to get into one of the streams.
Hope this helps.
