Dear aspirant,

There are many good NITs , IIITs and state governed engineering colleges that do their counseling through JEE mains. Mostly, the precedented one's are NITs. You need to be within 40,000 rank at Max for getting a seat here for general category students. But , for reserved candidates like OBC, SC, ST and PWD; their cutoff rank will vary largely.

For good colleges under state government, you must secure within 70,000 rank at Max if you want to join some good branch.

hope this helps and all the best!

Hii,

If your rank is below 28k (most likely) then you have a chance of getting a seat in government college but if you try to get your rank below 20k then you'll have more options in you hand and can opt for the course you are interested in.

All the best!!
