Mkb reservation seats for mhtcet
- State Level Seats: Irrespective of candidate’s home university area, these are the seats that are available to Maharashtra State candidates for allotment through common admission process.
- Home University Seats: There is a certain percentage of reservation for home university candidates. These are available to only those Maharashtra candidates who have home University status as of that University.
- Other than Home University (OHU) Seats: Other than Home University (OHU) Seats are which are reserved for candidates from Universities other than the University under the jurisdiction of which that institute is located. Under the provision of OHU seats, candidate has an option to choose any other university excluding their home university.
All India Seats: Treated as generally category seats, no provision for backward class categories is available for All India Seats. These are available for candidates from Maharashtra State and Outside Maharashtra State.
Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Seats: Under CAP (Common Admission Process), one seat over and above the sanctioned intake capacity in each management institute is available. The J&K candidates are classified into three categories:
- J-1 Type: Due to terrorist activities, the children of citizens who are displaced from Jammu & Kashmir to any part of India or from unsafe border area of J & K to a relatively safer place in J & K from 1990 onwards.
- J-2 Type: The children of officers belonging to Indian Administrative services, Indian Police Services, Indian Forest Services and children of the staff belonging to military and paramilitary forces, transferred to Jammu & Kashmir to combat terrorist activities and joined the post on or before the last date for submission of application form and serving there during the Admission Process.
- J-3 Type: The children of staff and officers of J&K Police engaged in combating terrorism.
