Hi Vedas,

To balance this redox reaction we will use the hydrogen ion support.

he Mn is changing from7 valency to 2 valency.

This reaction can be balanced as2MnO^−4 + H^+ + 5SO2 + 2H2O → 2Mn2^+ + 5HSO^−4.
