mobiles phones allowed in hostels?

If you are asking in general then yes students are allowed to keep their mobile phones with them. Infact in most cases, mobile phones are allowed. But it may be that some doesn't allow due to certain disciplinary factors. It's just that one is expected to not misuse mobile phones like during classes unless necessary. If you want to know about a particular college's hostel, then you may write in the comment section so that it can be answered accordingly.

Well, it's General that you are allowed to keep cell phones/ mobiles with you hostel. And for sure it's a must.
In some institutions, due to disciplinary reasons may be they are not allowed after a certain time limit.
But generally nowadays every hostel allow you with this and no conditions are kept.
I would like to remind you that we are living in the era of technology and everyone has the access the right to basic privileges, be it boys or girls
Only thing you've to keep in mind is that never use it during your classroom hours.
