There are two ways to get into IIIT Hyderabad:
- JEE Mains
- IIIT Hyderabad's entrance exam: UGEE
Jee mains jan session exam is over and currently application process for April session is going on which will last till 7th March 2020. For UGEE the application process commences form the second week of feburary.
For JEE main mode of admission, the starting cutoff rank for CSE was 573 and closing rank was 1187 in 2019.
For UGEE mode last year, the cutoff rank for B.Tech in CSE differed on the basis of MS course or research topic opted.
- Research in CSE : opening - 44, closing- 65
- Research in ECE : opening - 126, closing- 211
- MS by Research in Computational Linguistics: opening- 99, closing- 164
- MS by Research in Computational Natural Sciences : opening- 116, closing- 214
- MS by Research in Computing and Human Sciences :opening- 129, closing- 216
