Correct Answer: 270

Solution : Let the cost price of the watch be $x$.
Mohan sold his watch at a loss of 10%.
So, selling price = $\frac{90}{100}×x$
If he had sold it for Rs. 45 more, he would have made a profit of 5%.
So, then selling price = $\frac{105}{100}×x$
According to the question,
$\frac{90}{100}×x+45=\frac{105}{100}×x$
⇒ $\frac{15}{100}×x=45$
$\therefore x = 300$
Selling price = $\frac{90}{100}×300=270$
Hence, the correct answer is 270.
