Correct Answer: Rs. 200
Solution : Let the efficiency of Mohit and Rohit be $M$ and $R$, respectively. ⇒ $\frac{M}{R}=\frac{\text{time taken by Rohit}}{\text{time taken by Mohit}}$ ⇒ $\frac{M}{R}=\frac{12}{10}=\frac{6}{5}$ So, Rs. 2200 will be divided in the ratio of 6 : 5. $\therefore$ Share of Mohit $=\frac{6}{6+5}×2200$ = Rs. 1200 So, share of Rohit = Rs. 2200 – Rs. 1200 = Rs. 1000 $\therefore$ Difference = 1200 – 1000 = 200 Hence, the correct answer is Rs. 200.
