Hello there,
So, this are the basics of the chemistry that you'll find everywhere mentioned in the chemistry related topics.
Starting with moles, they represent the amount of any substance (no of atoms). They can be considered as a means to represent the amount in more scientific way as no of atoms. By defination, 1 mole of substance is equivalent to the weight of 6.022 * 10^3 atoms of that compound(Avagadro's Number). Mathematically, you can calculate the no of moles using formula (Mass / Molar Mass).
So for comparison of the amount of chemicals used, mole concept helps very vastly. As 1 mole of substance A contains same amount of atoms of A as that in 1 Mole of B. While this is not true if you change the units to Kg as different atoms have different molecular/ Molar weights.
Coming to Molarity, it is a unit of measuring concentration in a particular solution. It is defined as the number of moles of substance contained in unit volume of solution.
So molarity helps to find the number of moles of a component mixed in a solvent.
Hope This Helps..
Good luck !!!
