The NEET 2020 Mop-up round dates have been released.

Maharashtra will conduct 2 Rounds of State Counseling and a possible mop up round based on the availability of seats. Admission is based on NEET score on the basis of merit and preference. Those Candidates who have have registered for Rounds 1 and 2 but have not been able to secure a seat are eligible for this round. Those Candidates who have secured a seat cannot apply for mop up round.

NEET mop-up round 2020 eligibility criteria is as follows,

The mop-round in NEET 2020 counselling is slightly different from the 1st and 2nd round of counselling. Therefore it is advised that candidates have a look at the NEET 2020 Mop-Up round eligibility to avoid any confusion:

• Only those candidates who have qualified the NEET 2020 are eligible to participate in the mop-round.

• In any state, irrespective of their domicile, NEET eligible candidates can participate in the mop-up round against the vacant seats reserved to states through 15 per cent quota.

• Candidates who have participated in NEET Counselling but have not obtained a seat can also appear in Mop-Up Round.

The authorities of the conducting board had already declared the second and mop up round schedule of Maharashtra state counselling 2020. It has also released the seat matrix round along with the eligible candidates list and the rules and regulations to be followed while filling up the vacant seats. Directorate of Medical Education and Research Mumbai will conduct the entire state counselling process for the medical and dental colleges of Maharashtra. There will be two regular counselling rounds and one mop up round also. Till now dates for conducting the mop up round has not yet announced. As of now, first round seat allotment ha been released. After first round of counselling, second round will be conducted.
