Hello,

MSc in chemistry is a general course. Which you have to study Bsc in chemistry 3 years after that you can do masters in chemistry which is called MSc. Now after completing this if you want to go government job then go for government job study like State government job or UPSC examination. If you want to join IT sector then go for interview in IT industry. If you go for research then go for phd and join any popular research laboratory.

MSc in IT its not clear actually. IT is an engineering stream which is called information technology. If you want to go for masters then you can do Mtech in IT. After Mtech you can get any IT company for their vacancy.

And package will be more a master's degree holder IT engineer than a chemistry masters. Now choice is totally yours.

All the best.
