MSC CHEMISTRY VS MSC ELECTRONICS
Hello,
* MSC Chemistry is a two year post graduation course pursued by BSC undergraduates to gain a comprehensive & competent knowledge in the chosen field. The course is best suited for an individual willing to get advanced theoretical & practical knowledge in R&D, chemical reactions, & experiments. It offers you an edge by providing a scientific & professional competency in the specialized fields which you may opt for.
* For applying to MSC Chemistry all you need is to be a graduate in chemistry or an allied discipline from a recognized college or university with at least 50% or more marks can apply for the course. Although the admission criteria are different for different institutes.
* Subjects that you study these years will make you more proficient in your field of interest. Out of the various subjects below is the summary of the subjects that you get to lay your hands over –
Subjects in Semester 1 include – Inorganic Chains + Rings and Clusters + Group Theory + Quantum Chemistry + Stereochemistry and Reaction Mechanism + Analytical Chemistry + Inorganic Semi micro + Physical Chemistry Experiments Lab.
Subjects in Semester 2 include – Synthetic Strategies and Pericyclic Reactions + Qualitative Analysis Lab + Thermodynamics and Equilibria + Solid State Chemistry and Materials Science + Inorganic Quantitative Analysis Lab.
Subjects in Semester 3 include – Bioinorganic and Organometallic Chemistry, Coordination Chemistry, Bioorganic and Heterocyclic, Spectroscopic Identification of Molecules, Electrochemistry, Organic Quantitative Analysis Lab, Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Qualitative Analysis Lab, Instrumental Methods of Analysis Lab.
Subjects in Semester 4 include – Chemistry of Biomolecules, Kinetics, Photochemistry, Industrial Catalysis, Green Chemistry, Polymer Science, Surface Science, and Coating Technology, Bioanalytical Chemistry, Nano-Chemistry and Technology.
Apart from gaining theoretical knowledge of several MSC Chemistry subjects, an individual also needs to perform various research and practical activities as well. The areas of research are Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, etc.
* MSC Electronics is the combination of various science subjects like physics, computer science & electrical. It is a program which is a perfect mix of engineering, technology, electrical & physics. The MSC Electronics is a post graduation course which comprises of a curriculum that allows the students an unbelievable chance to study about electronic specialization like simulations, unified circuits, digital, analogue, & unusual electronic designs. The course is designed to prepare students to become professionals in accordance with the needs of the industry. The curriculum of study of courses includes a thorough study of subjects related to the division, coupled with preparation & intensive project internships.
* The course is developed with the intention of inculcating skills that are important to the industry & meet the requirements of the R&D department & industry. After completing MSC Electronics, the applicant will work as a specialist in a variety of sectors such as R&D, IT, security, medical, etc.
* MSC Electronics programs ideally lay a foundation by educating students on the basics concept that surround electronics and other topics related to it and eventually moves on to the other detailed topics. The 2-year program is divided into the first and second year where the principal year will contain primary subjects and the subsequent will be outfitted towards cultivating autonomous research while the one year program deals with preparing the student for the field of Electronics from the very beginning. hi,
The eligibility criteria for m.sc chemistry is candidates must have completed bachelors course in chemistry or relevant discipline from a recognized education board. you may get employment as teacher in school or colleges, supervisor role in Industry, bank jobs, scientific officer positions in government sectors.
The eligibility criteria for m.sc in electronics is candidates must have completed bachelors degree in physics or electronics or in relevant stream from a recognize education board. you would get employment in banks, as faculty in colleges, scientific officer positions in government sector , may also apply for mnc as operations analyst as well.
this two course is quite different and can not say about which of the course is best, it would depends on your study interest. hope you understand.
