With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that  water management is the process of planning, allocating, organizing and distributing water resources, for effective utilization. Water regulations and policies are taken into account throughout this process. Courses in this field are taught under Civil Engineering . They are taught as courses at undergraduate levels and postgraduate levels as specializations.

At the postgraduate levels, the courses offered are specializations, such as M.E./ M.Tech , M.Sc and Post Graduate Diploma in Water Management. There are also certain PhD courses in this field.

further, below I have listed down the eligibility criteria for Post graduate students for the course in Water management :

  • The aspirant must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering ( B.E. ) or a B.Tech in the same, along with good scores.

  • Entrance tests are also usually conducted for PG levels, for this course

eligibility criteria for water management courses  for undergraduate

  • For Undergraduate Water Management Courses:
  • The aspirant must have completed 10+2 years of education from a recognized board.
  • S/he needs to have a minimum aggregate of 50%, with core subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.


For Post Graduate Water Management Course:

  • The aspirant must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering ( B.E. ) or a B.Tech in the same, along with good scores.

  • Entrance tests are also usually conducted for PG levels, for this course
