Msc in Math or Msc in physics, which one provide good job opportunities in private, MNC, and government sector ? and which one has broad scope ?
Dear Aspirant,
MSc is a science degree and hence does not really have a lot of industrial applications.
MSc physics and Math are like comparing apples and oranges.
1. If you want to go for government jobs you'll need a degree and will have to prepare for the examinations and Ace it. Hence your degree doesn't matter much. In science you always have the option of doing PhD and continuing in academia.
2. In terms of application perspective - applied mathematics has a lot of applications in all field and hence has a really good scope of getting you a good job. Modelling, predictions, estimatiom etc are required in all fields and hence while doing your masters choose courses and internships carefully to help you land a job in a sector.
3. If you are really good at applied math you can do data analysis, learn machine learning, do.pdedoctions and modelling etc.
Hence, it depends on what you are interested in but in industrial applications point of view applied math has. Really good potential.
Hope this helps.
