well it totally depends on your choice of subjects and the willingness to learn.

but if you have done bsc in chemistry, it is advisable to  choose  msc in chemistry only because in this way your base is also strong and you have further options ahead too.

after msc you can apply for UGC NET and also become a professor in chemistry.
