The admission criteria of DU says that you need to add the marks of your best four subjects, that include a language subject also and it is your choice whether you want to keep that language Hindi or English.

So you can include Hindi in your best four marks without any hesitation.

1. One Language (core/elective/vocational)

2. The subject which is to be applied for hons.

3. Other elective subjects.
