You will definitely get a call from FMS. As FMS does not give high weightage to academic records for selecting students so with 90+ percentile you will have a very good chance of converting the call.

You will definitely get a call from FMS. As FMS does not give any weightage to academic records for selecting students so with 90+ percentile you will have a very good chance of converting the call. In FMS 85% weightage is given to CAT marks, 10% to interview and 5% to extempore. With 90+ percentile you will need to score only 8-9 marks out of 15 in order to confirm your seat in FMS.
In case of IIMs you should know that after CAT exam every IIM prepare a merit list to call students for next round of interview and WSAT which is based on your aggregate score which comprises of many factors such as CAT marks, 10th 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, engineer or non engineer, gender with different weightages for different colleges. Generally academic records have overall 10-25% weightage. So with your average academic records it could be a problem for you.
But still if your are able to score around 95 percentile then there is a good probability of getting a call from top 3 IIMs like IIM A, B and C. Also with 88+ percentile you can get calls from other old IIMs like IIM L, K and I. And ofcouyse you will get calls from all New IIMs with 80+ percentile.
Make sure that you prepare well for your second round of interview and WSAT because these two.have the major weightage in the final merit list which is used to give admission in IIMs. An in second merit list weightage of academic records is further reduced so with good performance in second round you will be easily able to convert it.

Yeah I just checked out FMS has recently announce the change in criteria now they are giving 60% weightage to CAT marks, 5% to 10th, 5% to 12th, 10% to GD, 5% to extempore and 10% to interview.
I've extra curriculum like district debate champion under govt of west bengal and also district quiz champion under govt of west bengal . And also champion municipality quiz competition . So can i get some extra benefit .?????
You don't usually get any benefit of extra curriculars in your selection procedure in IIMs and FMS but Yes you can definitely get its advantage during your second round of interview. Even .any questions related to your achievements can be asked. So mame sure you prepare very well.in detail about it.
