My 12th mark is 917 out of 1200, so I have entered 76.4 in the percentage column, it throws out an error 'please enter correct percentage' #CAT can someone help me out in this?
Hello aspirant,
Generally you have to fill out the percentage or total marks obtained or both in the application forms but in CAT application form your percentage is mandatory and it should be there in correct way. If you are facing such issue then there might be the following reasons :-
- You might have put the percentage symbol in the box and it might not be required.
- Marks you have mentioned that might contain some error or they might be incorrect.
- There is decimal in your percentage but in some forms the decimals are not accepted so try another way by removing it and just write it 74.
Try to check all the points enlisted above and you might get your issue resolved. For more details refer to the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Actually 917/1200 = 76.41666666
I tried entering - 76.4 , 76.41 ,76 also but it throwed out an error
Then I entered 76.42 It accepted
Thanks!!!!
