Hello Param,

Actually, you should have secure at least 75% marks in the 12th class board exam, or be in top 20 percentile in the 12th class exam conducted by the respective Boards. Then only you can eligible to get NIT colleges and to appear in the jee advanced exam.

If you are from other categories like ST / SC / PWD then with your 12th percentage it will be acceptable otherwise if you are from General Category then you should have atleast 75% in class 12th. Below the link is given through which you check all the eligibility criteria of IIST.
