You will get call from IIMs including some old IIMs. New IIMs calls are almost sure and old IIMs calls will be depends on criteria of each IIM. For example, IIM Bangalore give maximum weight to work ex where as IIM Ahmadabad give maximum weight to CAT score for interview calls. The criteria for interview calls and admission criteria are always different. And admission to new IIMs is also almost sure as actual cutoffs are around 97 percentile in new IIMs. Try your best for CAT and for GDPI.

Work experience of three years is great. And 3 year work ex consider as optimal work ex. Most of times, more than 3 year work ex will value less than that if 3 years

No, normally, one year gap is not an issue. I know people in IIMswho have a gap of 3 to 10 years gap. They could convince interview panel why they have the gap.

You have an impressive academic background. You may expect calls from new IIMs. It may be a little difficult to get call from old IIMs as they have higher cutoff for past acads, which may range above 90%.
