my aeee rank is 1229 , can i get cse in Coimbatore
Hello student. 1229 rank is a pretty good one for you to fetch a seat in computer science in coimbatore. The cut off for computer science last year went till 1900. This is the closing rank for computer science in open quota. So this year, the closing rank might definitely increase since it depends on number of applicants, the number of students attending counselling so on and so forth. you will definitely get through.

Hello,
Cut off depends on category, state quota, normalized marks, number of seats available, difficulty of exam and number of candidates applied. This year 40% weightage is given for marks in PCM and 60% for AEEE marks. So the cut off cannot be compared with previous year cut off. However, cut off for CSE will be below 2000. You have a decent rank so you may have chances of getting in CSE in Coimbatore campus.
