Hello Vijaya,
Let me tell you there is nothing so called "impossible".So never think of i can do this or not .Don't have a doubt on yourself. If you are a hardworker and very serious about it ,of course you can make it.
To get a psu you have to score enough (depends on the branch in which you are and it is nearly about 65-70 marks) in gate exam .If you are planning for a psu ,then you have to follow a simple strategy that i would ike to share with you .
As you know its november and in february 1st week you have to go for the exam.So find out how much of your syllabus is finished .And take out those 7-8 subjects in which you have a command and if not you can make it within 1-2 months. So basically you have to start with these subjects so that you can maximise your marks.Give full attention on your strong areas and minimise the mistake as much as possible. At the same time everyday practice maths and aptitude for 1-2 hr,not more than that and in that time only you finish the syllabus of maths and aptitude. You must be clear with the syllabus according to which you have to make everyday plan and not only planning but also you execute it.Do these upto december .And then start giving test series .Give test and after the test analyse your mistakes ,make points where you did silly mistakes how you can avoide it .So the entire january you brush up yourself whatever you have read and give test, analyse and revise .This is all about the preparation .Don't skip revision time to time and at the last the test series.
- Be calm and stay cool .Don't feel pressurised for the exam and the most important have faith in yourself. All the best for your future ahead.
