My Aim is to become an IAS Officer, Which branch i should take in engineering Between CSE ECE EEE? So that i can get a job(Private or gov)after my Btech as we are economically very poor and The branch should take less time to study the syllubus so that i can give more time for my UPSC Preparation?
Dear Candidate,
If I may add a suggestion to you, kindly give a thought to Humanities too if you are trying for UPSC. Anyhow you will have to select your optional subject while you are preparing for the same. At that time, you can alter your optional as per the study you have done over the years.
Anyhow whichever branch you take, you will have to study regardless of the branch you invest time into. Think about how you will prepare for civil exams. Dividing the time of you will study everyday for 1 hour or 5-6 hours for civil services on weekends depends totally upon you. Divide your time & see if that works for you irrespective of the branch you take.
Hello,
I think every branch has it's own perks. But I will answer your question easily as per my knowledge and research. The best branch will be CSE as it has many opportunities compared to others. You can do private jobs after graduating and prepare for UPSC at the same time.
Also, this field is easy in comparison with others, it's all about computers and programming. You can prepare for upsc and this field will not consume your most time.
Best luck, do your best.
Thanks.
