You know what before 2 years , i was also in the same breath . So , then a wise person advised me to pursue B.A. hons in the subject which just hits me , be it history , geography or let it be any other subject. You might be aware of this fact that we need to choose one subject as major in UPSC. So , if you have already chosen that subject  , then obviously do hons in same subject. But if you haven't , then just take a minute and think of all the subjects and strike the one which swipes you off your feet . I can't help you with any other better way than this because everyone has a different interest. Assume that i recommend you to pursue B.A. hons in pol. Sci.  because of some blah blah reasons and you do the same. And after some time , you realize that it doesn't hit you the way it should. So its better if you decide by your own ,by finding your area of interest.
