my all india rank is 5030 and my EWS rank is 456… I am having trouble understanding the significance of ews rank, during college allotments will my ews rank be conside or my all india rank?

NLUs are allocated as per the All India Ranks but some state law colleges are also present and they utilize category ranks as well.
Category ranks are primarily utilized at the state level and for colleges other than NLUs.
According to your rank, you might get NLUs you may get state-level law colleges where they use EWS rank.
