see you have  employment gap, and what ever job you may try for you would have to face questions, what you are doing these years. thats why you must make a story of not getting the proper employment or any other preparation or courses you are doing. dont hesitate and must give the clear answer about your future goal.

you did not mention which of the stream you have studied in engineering., but right now you must decide on which area you want employment or jobs and must prepare your self for it. let it be technical or non technical you must make up your mind and then start studying , doing courses or lectures based on that particular area of works. always remember its never late to start again, you must have confidence and energy of mind to make the right things now. right now give yourself some time and think what you want to do next, which of the filed of work you have interest for.
