my birth date is 24 August 2003 can i eligible for ssc chsl upcoming exam?

The age limit for SSC CHSL exam 18 years to 27 years. Candidate should have been born between 2nd January 1993 to 1st January 2003. So as you have gone on 24 August 2003 so your age is not matching with the exam SSC CHSL exam which is upcoming in the year 2022.

Staff Selection Commission, SSC has released the notification for various Group B and Group C posts on December 23, 2021.

---- The interested candidates can apply online for SSC CGL 2022 till 23rd January 2022.

---- There are certain eligibility criterias that one must fulfill to be eligible to write the examination.

Also the age wise eligibility criteria depends upon the posts for which Candidate wishes to apply -

1) For the posts for which age limit is 18-27 years -  Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2003.

2For the posts for which age limit is 20-27 years -  Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2001.

3) For the posts for which age limit is 20-30 years - Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1991 and not later than 01-01-2001.

4)  For the posts for which age limit is up to 30 years - Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1991 and not later than 01-01-2003

5) For the post for which age limit is up to 32 years -  Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1989 and not later than 01-01-2003

----- So if we go by this eligibility criteria, you won't be eligible for any post and hence you won't be able to appear for the examination.

• There is also certain age relaxation for various candidates. Here is the relaxation limit -

OBC - 3 years

ST/SC-  5 years

PH+Gen - 10 years

PH + OBC - 13 years

PH + SC/ST -  15 years

Ex-Servicemen (Gen) - 3 years

Ex-Servicemen (OBC) - 6 years

Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST) - 8 years

SSC CHSL is a Government job examination which can be given by the students who have passed there 10+2. Also the student appearing 10+2 are also eligible to sit for the examination. Now, SSC CHSL age limit is that the candidate must be in the range 18 to 27 years. Now you have turned 18 years in 2021 24th August so you are perfectly eligible for the examination of SSC CHSL.

The age of candidates as per SSC CHSL age eligibility criteria should be 18 to 27 years. As your age is 17 this year you won't be eligible but next year you will be eligible to give SSC CHSL exam.
