Hello,

Every year the SSC conducts an annual exam known as Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) to recruit candidates for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

As per the eligibility criteria for the SSC CHSL exam, the candidate must be between 18 years and 27 years of age as on 1st of January, 2022. So, candidates born not before 2nd January 1995 and not later than 1st January 2004 are eligible to apply for the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam.

So, as per your date of birth you are not eligible to give this exam in 2022 as you will not complete 18 years of age on 1st January,2022.

However, you can start preparing from now so that you will be able to give them exam and clear it in 2023.

Thank you!
