The age limit to appear for UPSC CSE Is that the candidate must not be less 21 years old and not more than 32 years old, however 3-10 years of age relaxation is given to some reserved categories, the minimum educational qualification required to appear for the same is that the candidate must have completed their graduation from any stream, the candidate must have Indian nationality, a candidate is allowed to appear for the same only six times, however there is no restriction on the number of attempts for SC and ST category candidates.

According to the present scenario, the eligibility criteria for appearing in the UPSC CSE exam is the candidate should be minimum of 21 years old.

So in the year 2023, your age will be 21 years old. But it depends on when the UPSC exam will be held.

If it is held after your birthday, then you would turn officially 21 by then and you can apply for the exam, if the exam in that year is before the month of October then it wouldn’t be possible.

So there are pretty good chances that you can appear but it all depends on the date of the examination and registration.
