Dear Saira,
It is recommended that you should focus on your boards exam.
If you get time in between you should focus on the topics which carries more weightage in JEE Main exam and try to clear your concepts.
You can also solve MCQs for your practice and complete mock test series to analyse your preparation level.
Your boards exams are very important. so, don't comprise in your studies for your boards exam. If you want you can make time table to manage both the exams.
You can start your revision for JEE Main after your boards exams are over.
Be determined and self motivated to crack your exam
All the Best for your exam!!
Focus on the competitive exams, since all what matters, is your college degree. Trust me! A good college is what you need. You will open up there and will automatically find your interest! So, first priority should be competitive exams and second should be CBSE boards.
And don't mug up stuff for boards, just understand them! Because boards aren't worthy enough to mug up things for If you really wanna mug up stuff then do it for competitive exams as they will take you to your destiny.
And yes one last thing to add, all this doesn't mean that you become slack from the boards examination (although the CBSE boards checking is very shitty and it will always keep you in wonder that how come did this happen!). But still give your best and score decent marks in boards.
-cheers :)
The most important part about both JEE Main & JEE Advanced is not how much syllabus you have covered, instead how well you have mastered the topics in all three subjects Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
Your revision plan has to be very strong. The best way of revising now is by taking several tests. This helps you in two ways. Firstly you are doing a new question (since doing questions which you have already done before, won’t help much unless they have some specific importance). Secondly you are doing it under a time limit. This is very important. Your endeavor is not just to solve the question but also to score your maximum possible marks in that test. So when you do questions under a time limit you realize your speed, accuracy, ability to think, level of stress within set time and ability to let go of questions that may take lot of time to solve (but would eventually get solved) and do more of those that may get done faster.
All The Very Best and Good Luck :)
Focus on solving the problems on your own, do not look for the solutions without attempting a question. Start with conventional methods of solving, while gradually improving. In short, build your own shortcuts and ways for problem solving.Try the shortest approach to MCQ/elimination method. Do not get tensed by comparing your performance with others, you need to compare your present performance with past performance. While preparing for your studies never ignore your health. At the time of preparation, do yoga and meditation, it will help you in developing inner peace, poise, confidence and power of concentration.Have a printout of your syllabus. You have no idea how helpful it can be.You will have to study at least 12 hours. But considering the situation, I would recommend you to go for 15 hours on some days. You might want to switch off your mobile now. If you cannot, use it strictly for exam purpose like to check exam notifications.
