Hi
Admission in mbbs in Gmc Mumbai and all other medical colleges is through Neet examination.
I am guessing that 159 marks is your aggregate marks in PCB i. e physics chemistry and Biology /biotechnology because for Neet eligibility your overall marks in class 12th is not considered but only marks in PCB is considered
To be eligible for neet, you should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-
at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category
at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.
Now,
You belong to general category and
Your aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology is
= 159
=( 159 / 300 x 100 )%
= 53 % so you are definitely eligible for neet 2021 examination . And after qualifying Neet examination you can get admission GMC Mumbai too on the basis of rank obtained by you in NEET
Also,
* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021
* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021
* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.
