There is no minimum percentage required to appear in JEE Main but to get admission in IITs/NITs/GFTIs you must secure 75% marks in class 12 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry if you belong to general category and for SC/ST it is 65% marks in the same. But this year the minimum percentage requirement to get admission in IITs and NITs was scrapped off and it is applicable for JEE Main 2020 because the class 12 board exams were cancelled by several boards due to covid-19. But for JEE Main 2021 the minimum percentage criteria may not be applicable as there is no clarification yet regarding this. But you can appear in JEE main 2021 if you are eligible even if you have scored below 75% but you won't be able to get admission in IITs/NITs/GFTIs if the relaxation of minimum percentage is not given for JEE Main 2021.
