There is no minimum percentage required to appear for JEE Main. You must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board in order to be eligible to appear for JEE Main.
61% is good enough to apper in jee but the thing is that you have to work hard and focus on math and physics very hard. maintain consistency and make a time schedule for proper study.
because in jee if you get 60 percentile is not enough to get admission in good government college and if you belongs from general category then it's going to very hard for you.

if you didnt get seat in IITS then check for the lower NIT's..its upto your choise
and moreover give JEE 2023 if and only if you can get 90-100&tile
