Hello,
Talking about the seat distribution first, there are in total 46 seats for msc forensic science course under the university of delhi . 27 seats are for unreserved category , 7 for sc category 3 for st and 12 for obc.
I would like to inform you that if your brother has secured 26th all india rank in the entrance exam then he has decent chances of getting admission in delhi university.you just follow the councelling process for the same. As of now just make sure that you do not miss any update about the councelling process. Do visit the official site regularly.
Hope this helps.
Good luck

Thank you for ur answer...i just have one more doubt plz do reply for this too... he is on rank 26 but when we serial no. In the list he is coming on 40 no..cz there are many many candidates who are having the same rank..so will it affect his admission chances..or his rank will only be counted..
Hello,
As far as i am concerned du publishes a normalised merit list . The candidate scoring more in the main subject is placed above in case of a tie. So it could pose a problem. But still you can hope for it since there would be many sc,st and obc candidates in between too. As of now just follow the councelling process.
Good luck
