i think it won't create any big issues.both will be pronounced as same,so no problem.during counselling/admission in NIT you've to go through the certificate verification on that time only you need to explain it, if they ask.

IIT and NIT is do not require school leaving certificate there for you need to only produce caste certificate and is your caste certificate has the name which you need to register for the event so there would be no problem just your caste certificate should have the same name is in the registration and mark sheets.
