hi harsh,
The more marks you will get in NEET exam, the better the chances of you getting better college for MBBS. NEET consists of total 720 marks.
Anything above 650+(for general candidate) is considered a top-level score. With this score you can get into some of the best colleges of India like AIIMS, Maulana Azad etc for MBBS.
To get a government college you need 550+(for general candidate) score/500-525+(for obc)/450+(for sc/st candidate) in NEET exam. These scores will get you a medical seat in government college, not top-most, but you will get a government college for surer with these scores. Don't get score below than the scores that I have mentioned above.
So you should score 550-720 out of 720 if you are a general candidate student and you will get top-notch/lower government college depends on your NEET score.
I hope this answer will help. All the best for the future!!
Dear Aspirant,
This depends upon many factors like the difficulty of exam, available seats, etc. however in a general case you can consider the score of 500 as a safe score for a general category student.
