Hello, I'm sorry to inform you but minimum eligibility to take admission in mechanical engineering is class 12 as eligibility criteria says that - candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board (for NIT's CFTIs IIITS)

Your son may pursue diploma in mechanical engineering for which the eligibility is - candidates must passed or appearing class 10th with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board.
