If you want to apply for admissions in different colleges it will matter , they may or may not accept it . So , a better solution is to apply for the new marksheet as it may have some use in your life.

I don't think it's going to cause any problem. The only reason they want your class 10th certificate is to confirm your date of birth. If the DOB is pretty visible and the sign of authority or any credibility sign is present then it's not to cause any issue.

You can still apply for a new one, the CBSE will provide you with a new certificate. I hope this helps you, good luck!

10th marksheet have no main use in future, the only use of your 10th Marksheet is to verify your personal details and information (like your 10th examinations score,Your Name, Your Parents name with spellings, your Date of birth, etc.) in future for admission in colleges and for filling application forms for different entrance exams.



So, you don't have to worry about it. Present only your original 10th Mark Sheet while admissions to colleges and while filling application forms for different entrance exams.
