Candidates who want to apply to PUMBA may take the MAH CET, XAT, CAT, CMAT, or ATMA exams. Candidates from outside Maharashtra would require a CMAT score of 99.0 percentile or above in order to be considered for PUMBA. Candidates will be admitted via the Centralized Admission Process, which will be handled by the Department of Technical Education of Maharashtra.

MBA++ degrees are available in five specialties at the institute: marketing, finance, information systems, human resource management, and operations. The CMAT 2021 exam is planned to be held in the final week of January 2021, according to schedule. Candidates may use the CMAT 2021 Rank Predictor to find out where they stand in the test before the results are revealed in the first week of February in 2020.

Candidates must get a qualifying score on either the CMAT, CAT, ATMA, XAT, or MH-CET in order to be considered for the PUMBA MBA++ programme. According to predictions, the cutoff for PUMBA in CMAT 2021 will be 210 points, or 96 percentile for Maharashtra students, and above 99.0 percentile for OMS candidates.

In addition to the SC/ST/OBCSAP category reservations, PUMBA offers a specific preference for applicants from the state of Maharashtra and graduates of home universities.

PUMBA will issue the official CMAT cut off scores when the CMAT results are revealed. Candidates that qualify for the second round (GD/PI) will be contacted for an interview.
