You have chances to get colleges like BIT Bangalore, CMR institute of technology. However some conditions are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Apply for all the counselling process and make a list of the best colleges that you will be getting based on the location, placement and other factors and then select the best among those. I think if you are getting the main campus in CUSAT then you should go for it otherwise you can also try for the state counselling process so please apply for the counselling process first.
