As you have mentioned that you have secured 31996 rank in jee mains 2020 and 7880 in obc category. Therefore there are chances that you may get any NIT but not of that good ranking. You can also take admission in IIIT. Your rank is enough to get you a seat in any NIT or IIIT. However, cutoffs change every year depending on many factors such as no of students, no. of vacancies and the no of students appearing and your category. So you can keep your hopes high. Also for backup there are many state government colleges which also takes students on the basis of jee mains marks.
