Firstly you should mention that in which entrance exam you have got 2,42,000 rank and your category.

Now since, recently the jee mains results were came out, so I am assuming that you have secured 242000 rank in jee mains 2020.

If this is the case, then sorry, you will not get any seat in cse in any nits or iiits or some other good government colleges.

If you have got 242000 rank in jee mains then you  better try fur some other state college or some other private institutions like kalinga institute of industrial technology or cv raman global university. There is a chance that you can get cse among these two colleges.

According to the rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get CSE in any of the NITs or any good colleges as per previous year's cut-offs but yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks but in CSE it is quite difficult.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
