Dear student,

In josaa counseling, both your ranks will be taken into account, but if you got any seat, then your category rank is preferred.
Now in some nits there is no ews category reservation, then if you want to take admission in them, then only your crl rank will be considered. For eg - if you belong from home state of certain low nits then by applying your home state quota, you can easily get some low nits like nit sikkim, nit mizoram, etc on the basis of this much huge crl rank.
Now as you have secured this much huge ews and crl rank, then it is nearly impossible for you to get any seat in seat in any nits in josaa counselling if you belong from other state quota.
