According to the official site of NDA, the age criteria for NDA, is that if a student whose age falls between 16.5 to 19.5 years , can apply for it and sit in the examination.

Now you will pass 12th in 2001, as you said you are in 8th class right now.

So by 2025, January your age will be 17 years 11 months, so your age group falls in the age limit given by NDA so you can sit for NDA after passing the examination.

Not only this, you can sit for NDA in 2024 too as appearing students. As that time you will be in 12th and appearing students are also allowed to sit for NDA so you will eligible for it.

Male candidate can only join NDA after 12th in the age group of 16.5-19.5 years. As you are studying in 8th standard then by 2025. Thus your age will be 18 years on 2025. Thus you are eligible to join NDA after 12.

Eligibility (minimum educational qualification) for Indian Army:

Passed 12th standard from State Education Board or a University

Eligibility(minimum educational qualification) for Airforce and Naval are:

Passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics from State Education Board or a University
