Since you need to complete 17 years by the 31st of December of the year in which you are giving the Neet examination
In your case you should still only be 16 and that you are not eligible to appear for Neet 2018 but may do so in 2019

No, as the required age must be b/w 17 to 25 and you will turn 17 in April while the forms are filled in January and February.

Dear Aparna, don't worry. You are eligible for the NEET exam. Just don't worry about that now. Just keep preparing for NEET. If you work hard from right now I'm quite sure you'll get very good marks. All the best.

Yeah. According to the neet ug official notification, you will be eligible for giving neet ug exam, only when you fulfill the minimum qualifying marks criteria for giving neet ug exam.
