Based upon the marks she has got decent chances of admission in the government colleges of Maharashtra.The cutoff for government colleges are always on the higher side than the private colleges.Majority of the students llok forward to get admissiojn in the government colleges every year.So the competition has increased over th years.
With 554 marks,se may have to wait till the 3rd or 4th round of cutoffs.The cutoffs are high for this year.However she has got good marks and has chancs of getting her seat alloted in the government colleges by 85% State Quota.Now it all depends upon the cutoffs.

Hello Rutuja, Yes, your daughter can definitely get admission in some of the government colleges like Dr Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College, Solapur, Government Medical College, Miraj, Shree Bhausaheb Hire Medical College, Dhule, Rajarshee Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Government Medical College and CPR Hospital, Kolhapur, Government Medical College, Jalgaon and some other colleges too. These colleges had closing rank marks at around 490-510 in 2018. The cutoffs are expected to increase this year, but still, I think she will get a seat.
