My daughter got admitted in NIT Agartala this year. Is she eligible to apply in CSAB special round for college upgradation.

If you meet the below eligibility criteria for CSAB special round then you can participate

• A candidate must have qualify in JEE MAIN 2019, and must have passed class 12th with 75% from a recognised board in PCM
• A candidate who was not alloted a seat in any round of counselling is eligible,
• A candidate who failed to report to the college or want to withdraw the college is eligible.
• A candidate cannot participate in CSAB special round if or he/she choosed not to participate in special round.

As per your query she has taken the seat, you have to withdraw the seat if you are not satisfied and must meet the above eligibilty criteria.

Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has commenced the registration process of CSAB 2019 special round for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Candidates will have to register, pay the participation fee and fill choices till July 27, 2019. The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) special round is for admission of all JEE Main 2019 qualified candidates in left over seats of NITs,IIITs and SFTIs after the initial rounds of counselling. The registration for CSAB special round 2019 has started for admitting students in first year UG courses in engineering/architecture to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
